LUMINA

Alakajam (3rd)

Lumina is a game where me and a group of friends decided to participate in the Alakajam 3rd's game jam.

We were given the task to create a game within 48 hours with a given theme, "Always Growing". Our team decided to create a game where the darkness is always growing and the player has to protect the light.

As I was one of the designers, I was responsible with creating the level design and developing the various in-game mechanics.

As this was the first game jam I participated outside of the University of Bolton, I was pleased when we got the results that the Lumina game was placed 6th place within the overall ratings, but achieved 1st for best graphics.
